Connecting our Community

Friends in Action is connecting our community in more ways than ever. We help seniors and adults living with disabilities to maintain their independence and quality of life.

We do this with free, volunteer assistance with services such as transportation, shopping, errands, and chores.

Our Senior Center offers a variety of programs, including a free computer lab and internet access, coffee house, exercise classes and enrichment classes.

New programs at the Senior Center!

There are a number of new programs at the Senior Center this year, including "Bone Builders", a free exercise class, a painting group, knitting group, drawing and writing groups, a computer lab, Coffee House, and field trips. Click on our CALENDAR to see what is going on!

Can You Help?

Rides are needed for medical appointments, ongoing treatments such as dialysis or radiation, and to go to the dentist, eye doctor, grocery store, post office and to do other errands. Rides are also needed for social outings, volunteering, to get to the food pantry, to go to the library or to take a pet to the vet. Click here for more ...

Can You Donate?

Friends in Action needs your financial support to continue its work. We do not receive any federal or state funding at this time and rely entirely on community fundraising, small grants and individual donations.
